From a spark of creativity to a full-service studio


Over 5 years ago, a young, creative graphic designer named Angela decided to brave the big bad freelance world and start her own design business. That girl is me. My story is much like most graphic designers,  I wanted creative freedom, flexible hours, and to build something I could be proud of.


I moved back home, risked it all, and started this little design studio called Ohragnar. The name? Inspired by my (then sweet, now grumpy) King Charles Cavalier, Ragnar. It made no sense at the time, but as a creative, I’ve always known a brand isn’t just a name or a logo,  it’s how you present yourself to the world.

Where We Are Now


Fast forward 6 years and things look a little different. Thankfully no longer living at home, but now married to another creative (which really was a shock) and a working mum, juggling Adobe Creative Suite updates and a toddler. The hair may be a touch greyer, but the mission is the same: creating brands and visuals that feel consistent, professional, and true to you. I love branding, it’s my zen zone, but over time ohragnar has grown into something much bigger than just logos.


Today, we’re a full-service design studio offering:

  • Branding Services – From full premium branding packages to refreshes for established businesses.
  • Content Planning & Creation – Strategies, calendars, and monthly done-for-you content.
  • Graphic Design Services – Print, apparel, signage, promotional products and digital campaigns.
  • Photography – Brand and content shoots that keep your visuals fresh and on-message.
  • Laser Cutting Services – Branded signage, acrylic badges and keyrings, produced in-house through our studio, House of Kylo.


How We Work


We like to keep projects stress-free and collaborative. I pride myself on being upfront, approachable and open to feedback (thick skin comes with the job). Lewis, my husband, is my second set of eyes, photographer, sounding board and occasional spellchecker.



We’ve worked with start-ups, lifestyle brands, community organisations and established businesses — often staying with them for years as their design needs evolve.
